    Synopsis

Being a mother is never easy-especially when you're undead.

July 09, 2007: In this second installment of Michele Bardsley's Broken Heart OK Vamp series, The main characters are the town librarian (newly turned vampire) Evangeline learning that she can communicate with animals. And the vampire that murdered her. Talk about an interesting couple. Lorcan has never gotten over the fact that he caused harm to anyone let alone a entire town. A loner, peace loving writer and historian at heart. A great story of self forgiveness mixed with a nice bit of romance. Loved it!

Delicious blend of humor and horrorby Anonymous

June 23, 2007: Wonderfully entertaining second installment in Bardsley's vampire series, this time focusing on the romance between local librarian and newly turned vampire, Evangeline, and the 4000 year old vamp, Lorcan the Lonely. The characters are engagingly genuine and quirky as they tackle all manner of paranormal obstacles. Bardsley's style is reminiscent of the tv show, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, as she seamlessly joins fantasy, drama, comedy and horror. Loved it!
