      A fun read!by boomer51

May 31, 2009: A fast-paced romp with the sort of zany characters and witty dialogue that make Katie MacAliser so much fun to read. These first-person naratives feature Aisling Gray as dragon's mate and accidental demon lord. The secondary characters are well developed and add much to the fun of the rollar coaster plot. Although the series continues, these books were so well written that they can be enjoyed on their own.

April 26, 2008: The dragon series books are great fun, even if the publisher can't quite figure out how to market them. Not quite romance, but something very different from your average fiction. This book, with its imaginative approach to the paranormal, its sarcasm and wit, and its very real plot line that doesn't simply serve as an excuse to fill the void between time in the sack is a beach read for every season. Readers are advised to read these in order - MacAllister does fill im some plot information from previous novels, but she (thankfully) does not retell these novels in the first 100 pages of her subsequent books.
