      Synopsis

In this new novel in the bestselling series, mystery writer Jessica Fletcher accompanies her publisher to Mexico for a little R&R.

San Miguel de Allende is the perfect place for Jessica to soak up the sun, bask in Mexican culture, and spend some time with her good friends Vaughan and Olga Buckley. But when Vaughan is kidnapped for a large ransom, Jessica must put her life on the line to find her old friend.

October 08, 2005: The latest Murder She Wrote mystery isn't up to par with other novels in the series. I didn't like the premise of Vaughan being kidnapped and held for ransom. And nobody back home in Cabot Cove gets in touch with Jessica regarding the incident. Not my cup of tea this time around. Hopefully the next caper will be more worthwhile.
