March 22, 2005: Diamond dreams was a interesting premise but after reading this one, I found it flat and boring. It took me a few days to finish the book and even though Ms. Heath writes beautifully, she left out much of her passion and wit within the book. It started out slow, sped up a little then fell back to slow again. There were too many subplots going on and it confused this reader many times. It had too many little details and not enough character developement to suit this reader. If youlike regencies then you might like this one but I prefer Ms. Heaths other books and feel they had more of her natural passiona nd wit.
