February 20, 2005: Silent Witness builds beautifully on its forerunner, Hostile Witness. Josie, Archer, Jude, and Hannah are each engaging characters caught up in a serious amount of trouble. Everyone has an 'agenda.' And yet each has that interdependency that weaves their fortunes together in ways that are both fascinating and suspenseful. The plot pulls us quickly through a series of discoveries that really do not stop until the final surprising outcome. Who knew?
