August 03, 2005: All of the books in the 'Fallen Angels' series are very good reads, but by far, 'Shattered Rainbows' is the best one. Two very wonderful, yet human characters, an exciting plot, and yes, a nice ending make for a book that I was sorry to see come to an end. If you read the Fallen Angels books in order, the back story of 'Shattered Rainbows' makes sense--the first book in the series, 'Thunder and Roses', contains a plot line that is key to understanding Michael's actions in the first part of the book. All in all, an excellent part of an enjoyable series!

November 22, 2004: Like all of Mary Jo Putney's books, this book is worth buying, while so many in the industry aren't. The reason I'm writing this is to point out that this is actually one of her earlier stories, it came out years ago originally, and I am very happy to see that it's now on shelves again. I hope she continues reprinting the earlier books, for they've been the very devil to track down. Also, the 'mysterious Caroline' mentioned in the other comment, appears in 'Thunder and Roses', one of the earlier books in MJP's series of Fallen Angels. (Don't worry about her, she caused much harm, and absolutely no good.) Honestly, read them all. They are actual books. My favorites are below.
