      September 16, 2008: I really enjoyed this book, however I had a hard time reading this book all in one sitting, it took me a few days to read this book. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it as I do all the Anna Strong Novels. Anna goes to find her DEA boyfriend Max and has to reveal to him that she is Vampire along the way, he doesn't respond so well to her after that. Once home in San Diego, she is helping her Partner's ex-girlfriend, Gloria, Gloria is put in Jail for killing her Business Partner and released and Anna is trying to help her prove her innocence, also Anna is trying to defend herself against a Werewolf and her pack that has come to town to claim Avery's estate, the Vampire that helped Anna out way back in book one. There is a lot going on in this book, lots of action, and questions that need to be answered. Some supernatural stuff goes on in this book also, check it out for yourself, I think you will enjoy it. I am looking forward to the next one in the series as the ending didn't tie up all of my answers to my questions in a neat little bow, but rather set up questions for the next book in the series.
