November 02, 2009: I have to admit, as much as I love reading Patricia Briggs' books, this one left me a little unsatisfied. I had to make myself finish the book, which is very unusual for me with this author. I just couldn't get into the characters or the story. It just felt dull & flat, unlike the Omega or Mercy Thompson series of books.

August 29, 2009: I am a huge Patricia Briggs fan, and while I liked the Raven series a lot, it was not her best. Personally, I am a bigger fan of her Mercy Thompson and Wolf books. But if you are looking for a good book with a strong family, an older heroine, and strong female characters then this is for you!
