July 26, 2009: This book is amazing. I love the story to Jonah and sweet Anna. Not as touching as I wish it to be but overall, still a good book. However, I LOVE the second book to this story. A Witch's Beauty. Wow! But, you'll have to read this book first to really understand the second book.

April 19, 2009: I found the characters real, easy to relate with. Their quailities of tenderness, resolve, and honesty; above reproach. The initial adventure plot, love story, trials, of these fantasy beings, was well thought out. I would not hesitate to recommend this book to lovers of well-written, image-filled literature, as well as the fantasy genre. Yes, it involves angels, yes, it involves mermaids. The great thing about this book is you forget what these characters are, though you never lose sight of their needs due to what they are, and end up paying attention to the moving story. Those who have not read this type of fantasy book should try it. I applaud this mermaid-angel novel, for a good mermaid story is hard for fans of this particular realm to find. I wanted to read more when I was done, and the sequel, A Witch's Beauty, was even better!
