February 05, 2010: I didn't have any desire to read fanfiction or someone else's take on the Austen stories, but reading reviews on Amanda Grange's other novels made me curious. I went to the library and found Captain Wentworth's Diary and I absolutely love it!!! My favorite book of Jane Austen's would have to be Persuasion and I think that Ms. Grange did a wonderful job of telling the story from Captain Wentworth's perspective. I loved the book so much, I read it in one sitting and then I went to Barnes and Noble and bought the book as a birthday present for myself. I am really impressed with the quality of Amanda Grange's work and I will be buying Mr. Knightley's Diary today.
