    Synopsis

Vampire hunter and zombie animator Anita Blake is an expert at sniffing out the bad from the good. But in The Lunatic Café, she's about to learn that nothing is ever as it seems, especially in matters of the not-so-human heart.

    Annotation

The local pack of werewolves comes to prenatural expert Anita Baker for help after a number of their pack come up missing--probably because she is dating the leader of the pack. Anita has survived a lot, from jealous vampires to killer zombies, but this love thing may kill her yet. From the author of Circus of the Damned. Original.

    Jayne Ann Krentz

A real rush...a heady mix of romance and horror.

    I can't believe...by MunsterMovie13

January 31, 2010: so many people love Anita Blake. I originally picked up the series because it had recieved such great reviews, but I regret my descision. Anita is just plain annoying. She's always whipping out her guns whenever someone walks NEAR her! I just cannot like her. Jean-Claude is a great character, but his saying 'ma petite' EVERY SCENTENCE is annoying beyond belief.

Richard may be the most annoying character besides Anita. He's always playing the martyr, which I find sad.

I also find it sad that Anita couldn't even stomach his being a werewolf, but tries to console herself about it.

This book is only good if you're alone and need something to occupy your time.

November 14, 2009: I like these books and I can't seem to put them down but I am getting so mad about Jean-Claude, I want them to be together and this back and forth stuff is annoying. I love the Meredith Gentry serious and I loved all the characters and how she did the entire story but this one is just pissing me off!!!!
