    Synopsis

In Laurell K. Hamilton's New York Times bestselling novels, Vampire Hunter and zombie animator Anita Blake is an expert at sniffing out the bad from the good. But she's about to learn that nothing is ever as it seems-especially in matters of the not-so-human heart...

Dating a werewolf with self-esteem issues is stressing Anita out. Especially when something-or someone-starts taking out the city's shapeshifters.

    Annotation

The local pack of werewolves comes to prenatural expert Anita Baker for help after a number of their pack come up missing--probably because she is dating the leader of the pack. Anita has survived a lot, from jealous vampires to killer zombies, but this love thing may kill her yet. From the author of Circus of the Damned. Original.

    Jayne Ann Krentz

A real rush...a heady mix of romance and horror.

November 14, 2009: I like these books and I can't seem to put them down but I am getting so mad about Jean-Claude, I want them to be together and this back and forth stuff is annoying. I love the Meredith Gentry serious and I loved all the characters and how she did the entire story but this one is just pissing me off!!!!

November 01, 2009: I am glad that I decided to read this series. Despite the gorey nature of the books, I find myself totally immersed in the stories and ready to read on. I love the characters, and I love Hamilton's clever dry humor. If you are looking for a great paranormal series, this one is fantastic!

If you like the Anita Blake novels, you might also like the "steamier" Riley Jensen series by Keri Arthur! Also, the Nightcreature novels by Lori Handeland were great as well!

I Also Recommend: Blue Moon, Dead until Dark (Sookie Stackhouse / Southern Vampire Series #1) (True Blood), Blue Moon (Anita Blake Vampire Hunter Series #8), Bloody Bones (Anita Blake Vampire Hunter Series #5), Burnt Offerings (Anita Blake Vampire Hunter Series #7).
