October 16, 2006: After the first two books in this series were so very wonderful, I expected great things from this one too, but was disappointed. I think that this one misses the interplay among the sisters and the rest of their family since it is set largely on the continent and apart from the Merridew family. This is not a bad book, but I hope that the next one brings back that family relationsip element that this one misses.
