October 25, 2006: In the beginning I found some of the stories all right. I gathered that this was not really a romance from the beginning, but I had imagined the men to be a bit more alpha male. A lot of the stories just were bland and a bit ridiculous, but, I can honestly say I really started to lose interest when I read the story of the mother telling her child about her erotic story in detail. It grossed me out. It is one thing to tell your child an exciting man you meet and had a so called affair or even elaborate a bit on it. But to get down into detail was just plain nasty. I had to skip over this story. I did try and give it another chance by reading on to a couple more stories. I actually almost finished this book but I really, really couldn't read on anymore it was moving in a direction of erotica that is just not for me. This is the second book of Diane Whiteside that I have read. I was not impressed with the prior story in Captive Dreams but I have to say that it was much better than this book.

January 08, 2006: Wow! From beginning to end, the stories in this book are incredible! I'm a transplanted Texan and I can tell you, if there was a Don Rafael here, I'd give a big Yee Haw! Each story is lush, vivid in detail and description and the intimate encounters are explosive. Treat yourself to samplings of this wonderful new, erotic author's work and read Hunter's Prey. I guarantee, you'll be reconsidering men of the nocturnal variety! Dakota Cassidy
