    Synopsis

In a small back room in a Seattle bookstore, two strangers make their fantasy come true. But there is still so much further to take it.

Beth isn't expecting it-that's what makes it so exciting. But she knows what she wants. And she gets it: complete control over a man.

Packing years of military discipline under his belt, Sean is about to give in to his ultimate fantasy: to be thoroughly dominated by a woman.

They're not looking for love. They're looking for a night to remember. But where the night takes them is beyond desire, beyond fantasy, and beyond control.

December 21, 2007: A wonderful story and superbly written. The development of attraction and love between the characters is believable and love making scenes built on their fantasies are divine! Suggestion: after reading a chapter, allow several minutes to cool down before facing the public or the family at the dinner table...very sensuous, sexy and seductive reading!

August 21, 2006: While Diane Whiteside's historical novels held my attention to the very last word this one just seemed to peter out at the end. The characters started out strong but seemed to fade to two demensions. I'm not sure i can pin point when it happened, perhaps when the story stuttered at the heroine's almost too cliche rejection of the hero and his so easily winning over his family and hers to his cause, it just seemed to down patte and syrupy. i just can't give this story a fabulous rating but because it started out good and i decided to keep the book i will give it three stars.
