October 25, 2008: for some reason I was uncertain about reading this book but I was very pleaseantly suprised. It had suspense, romance, sex and some light bondage. the main character, Nikki, was interested in being someone's submissive and took out an add at an online site. In the meantime her best friend was having ESP dreams about some horrible events concerning Lucifer, the local serial killer. the details of the dreams were vague at first then became more detailed. When she realizes it is her best friend Nikki she rushes to save her. After the failed attempt on Nikki's life the police know that Nikki is the soul surviving victim of Lucifer's and she is put under intense protection by a very virile detective Thomas... and Thomas has his own dark secrets to come to terms with

November 07, 2005: This is one of the BEST books I have ever read. It truly was steamy and the sex was real. It wasn't one of those perfect love making scene (otherwise know as boring) It was really something you would want to do and really something worth reading yet it wasn't over the top. Jaid needs to write more books like this. The story was great to I even cried and I didn't figure out who was doing it til the end.
