February 19, 2009: I like the concept of a female physciatrist who works with hypnosis to help her patients as it is not common in the time described in the book.

It feels like a variety of common things put together to make something abnormal like the whole Dr. in love with a patient, actress who is reliving the glory days, child with a troubled past, etc.

Don't get me wrong each character is very well described and you get enough background on each of them but it is just off. Not in love with this book but it is interesting.

October 25, 2001: I had a fantastic read with Touch of the Wolf and added it to my permanent collection. Once a Wolf, I could barely get through. I found the story extremely boring. It was such a disappointment. So, it was with trepidation that I bought and read Secret of the Wolf last night. It wasn't as good as the first, but not as bad as the second.
