November 16, 2009: Susan Elizabeth Phillips is a truly amazing author and one of my favorites. She creates powerful, funny, and romantic stories that help you to escape. This Heart of Mine was the first book of hers I ever read. That was nearly six or seven years ago. I fell in love with the characters.

You cannot help but love the quirky personality of the heroine, Molly. Kevin, the hero, is complex and every bit a leading man. While the story is set against the Chicago Stars "back drop" (for lack of a better term), it is not a "Sports story." It is a love story. Their story unfolds ease and SEP entertains in a way few other authors can. I found myself grimacing, laughing, getting choked up, and more. Every emotion you can imagine flooded my mind at one time or another. SEP writing never disappoints.

This is one book that I read again every so often, and I never tire of it.

I Also Recommend: Match Me If You Can, Natural Born Charmer, It Had to Be You, Heaven, Texas, Heaven, Texas.

Lovely.. one of my favorites from SEPby RochellyakaFictionLover

June 20, 2009: This book is more than romantic, it has all the elements to grab people's attention. it is funny, witty, sad, hysterical and the characters are great. Kevin Tucker is my favorite male character besides Dean Robillard (from Natural Born Charmer) from the Chicago Star series. Molly and Kevin cannot be more opposites and the circumstances that make them fall in love are sweet, sad but hysterically funny at the same time. I could not stop reading the book and was sad when it ended... I recommend this boo to anyone that likes romance and that specially likes SEP.
