    Synopsis

Remember Sawyer, Morgan, Gabe and Jordan? The sexiest brothers in Buckhorn County.

    Now meet Sawyer's son, Casey . . .

    Like father like son!

Emma Clark was back in Buckhorn. As a teen she'd been the girl with the bleached-blond hair, too much makeup and a bad reputation -- and she'd tried everything she could to get Casey Hudson into bed. He'd been the cutest guy in town, and the only one who seemed to really care about her.

As a hot-blooded teen it had been hard for Casey to resist Emma. But now, eight years later, it was impossible. Emma's adult sensuality was more subtle, more beguiling. He had to have her. But Emma was dong her best to shut him out. Casey had to convince her the attraction wasn't just leftover teenage lust, but his real love for a real woman . . .

December 04, 2002: Try to get your hands on this book as soon as possible! It is an excellent read, a wonderful love story that will leave you feeling warm and happy. Fans who worried about disappointment after the high anticipation for Casey's story, have no fear! Lori Foster had created the perfect conclusion to the Buckhorn Brothers series. As teenagers, Casey & Emma were hot... as adults they're downright scorching! Casey has grown into a hero whose kind-heartedness is surpassed only by his sexiness. He's a perfect blend of sensitivity and protectiveness, with just the right mix of Alpha male attitude thrown in. I really enjoyed what seemed to me to be a focus on his point of view in the story, getting inside his head and heart. Emma's evolution from a frightened, needy girl to an independent, self- confident woman is a joy to witness, and her acceptance of her sexual past is refreshing to read. Ms. Foster expertly mixes emotions and physical desire, resulting in a fun, yet touching, story. The sexual tension between the two leads is definitely hot, but Foster also shows them as friends who learn to communicate with each other. I enjoyed the peek into Casey's family 8 years later, seeing how they've grown in number and grown closer in love. Little brother Shohn is an utter delight, and I can only hope that years down the line, Ms. Foster decides to tell his story!

November 27, 2002: If I could give this book more then 5 stars I would. Casey is the long awaited followup to the Buckhorn Series. Casey is the son of Sawyer. He most definetly is a chip off the old block. This books takes you back to the ending of Jordan book when Emma Clark appears at the Hudson family home. You find out what happens to Emma that night and then the story picks up 8 years later when Emma comes back home to Buckhorn. Emma fights it tooth and nail her attractions to Casey. But when she finally gives in to her desires it is amazing. This book will make you laugh, cry and swoon. It is a wonderful read and a fantastic ending to the series.
