    Synopsis

    A Past Awakened

Magic coursing through his blood, Dillon, son of Lara, Domina of Hetar, follows his mystical path to Hetar's brightest star. Belmair is a forgotten world. And, it turns out, his people's lost heritage. Summoned to marry the king's daughter and inherit the throne, Dillon discovers Belmair is beautiful, enigmatic and seductive--as is his strong-willed new queen, and the mystery lying at Belmair's heart.

    A Love Unimagined

Cinnia, sorceress of Belmair, expected to claim her rightful place as ruler, not as the wife of a stranger chosen by Belmair's magical guardian. But the enchantment that seals a marriage of power and greatness soothes her wounded pride, allowing her to use her magical gift to uncover the darkest secret of a bright planet whose young women are inexplicably disappearing....

    Publishers Weekly

Cinnia, daughter of the king of Belmair, is a sorceress with a problem: she wants to rule her father's kingdom as a queen in her own right. The Great Dragon, Nidhug, has other ideas, and selects Dillon, a mighty sorcerer from another world, as ruler. Tradition dictates that Cinna must marry him, which doesn't turn out too badly for her. Soon, however, Dillon must face Belmair's crisis: women have been disappearing over the years, threatening the race. The fourth book in the World of Hetar series, Small's newest novel is a sexily fantastical romp. (May)

June 13, 2008: I have read the world of Hetar series so far & they are really good, but this one had certain things that could have been written better. Some of the wording in this particular book made it seem like a porn flick. The other books had better wording than this. I really wish she would have taken the time to word things better.
