    Synopsis

Leya Brandon didn't know what — if anything — she could believe of all Court Tremayne told her. He'd already lied about his name. And while she thought her heart clearly wasn't at risk, she'd clearly underestimated his all-consuming desire to win her for his own. Little did she know that Court had no intention of stopping. Not until he'd left her hungering for his lean strength, shivering at his gaze and aching for the fulfillment only he could give. . . .

August 06, 2005: This book was so boring. The relationship between Leya and Court made no sense at all. I don't know why these two got together. After reading the whole book I still don't get it. If your thinking about getting this book, don't. There are too many good books out there. Don't waste your time.

December 30, 2004: This was my first JAK book and I was just a little disappointed. This book was incomplete to me. Court was a little too barbaric for my taste. He was carrying her over his shoulder and pulling her hair. That was a little too much for me, I don't like men that are too controlling. But I did like how he wanted her trust. That scored him some big points from me. Even though this book isn't what I've expected after reading all the reviews on most of her books, I'm going to try to find some more titles that may suit me.
