    Synopsis

Michelle Lewis had had her fill of smooth-talking healers. But Nick Kempner was hard to resist, especially when the sexy single father invited her to his lakefront home for some much-needed R and R.

Beneath the PR guru's all-work-no-play exterior was a caring, passionate woman Nick was determined to get to know.... much, much better. Michelle was sending his hormones-and his heart-into overdrive, and he had the perfect cure. She'd just have to trust him. Doctor's orders.

November 11, 2002: I just literally finished reading this book, and I must say it is one of my favorites. I?ve read hundreds of novels by various different authors and I have never identified with the characters as much as I have with Michelle and Nick. I was so captivated that I couldn?t put this book down for 2 seconds. I finished it within hours. (Much to my husband?s displeasure.) I would recommend this book to any and all and I can?t wait to read the next book in this series. I hope you enjoy this book as I did.

February 21, 2002: After reading Kristi Gold?s Dr. Desirable, you?ll think hot and passionate each time you hear the phrase ?15 minutes?. Tantalized? I won?t give away the secret, but be prepared for some blistering sensuality. In this second book of Kristi?s Marrying an M.D. series, Michelle Lewis, PR extraordinaire at San Antonio Memorial?s hospital, tries valiantly to resist the charms of Dr. Nick Kempner, a sexy surgeon with a lady-killer reputation. Michelle has been burned before, but Nick?s persistence reveals a man who is far more complex and serious than she ever bargained for. Nick is determined to uncover the woman beneath Michelle?s workaholic exterior. A single dad who?s tired of empty relationships, Nick senses vulnerability underneath Michelle?s professional exterior. Little by little, he breaks down her barriers, and in the process, he proves he?s the man of her dreams. Once again, Kristi Gold delivers a sensual story with plenty of sexy banter, a healthy dose of humor, and characters who touch the reader?s heart. What differentiates Kristi?s writing is her feather-light painting of her character?s strengths and weaknesses, a painting that elicits a chord of recognition within the reader. Her sophisticated handling of emotional issues within the context of a traditional love story indicates a talent that promises to keep growing. Keep your eye on Kristi Gold.
