August 06, 2003: Rachel Thompson has hit rock bottom. She's sent to Camp Firefly Wishes and there she meets eight-year-old Molly McClain, and her father, James...and in James and Molly, Rachel finds her heart. A touching story of healing and love. July 24, 2003: After reading Ms. Gable's excellent debut novel The Baby Plan, I was excited to receive a copy of The Mommy Plan. I was not disappointed. The Mommy Plan is filled with such warmth and depth of character, I felt like I knew James, Rachel & Molly personally by the end. I laughed, cried and sighed my way through this book and though I was enormously satisfied with the incredibly touching happy ending, I was also sad to let these characters go. Good thing this book is going on my keeper shelf. It's a fast, easy read that kept me turning pages quickly. If you're looking for a story to touch your heart, fill you with hope and one that offers a peek at the power of love, this is definitely the book for you!
