January 15, 2003: Susan Gable is one of Harlequin's hot new authors! If you enjoy a marriage of convenience plot (this one has a fun, new twist!) and love a good romance, this book is hard to beat. With a strong, determined heroine anyone would be happy to count as a best friend, and a handsome hero who knows exactly what he wants, THE BABY PLAN makes for an enjoyable page turner. Susan Gable has a smooth writing voice that makes her story a true page-turner. And be sure to look for Susan's next book, available this summer!

January 07, 2003: The Baby Plan by Susan Gable is a romantic twist on the popular marriage-of-convenience story with an engaging surrogate mother storyline thrown in. Jake Manning, the hero, wants a baby of his own and ends up with much more than he bargained or could have hoped for. Harley Emerson, who's had more bad breaks than a bag of crushed potato chips, agrees to take on the role of surrogate mom to Jake's baby. Jake draws up a contract, but the stubborn Harley has a few conditions of her own. What they end up with is the ever-after type of love and a baby to boot. I highly recommend this book.
