August 22, 2001: Wow! What a sizzling sexy corker! Just the thing to keep me company at the cottage. I picked it up and didn't put it down until I was done. Definitely recommend this to anyone who like their heroes hot and their humour dry. This book is a winner. Can't wait until the next Nancy Warren offering!

July 29, 2001: Author Nancy Warren has managed the near-impossible task of creating a book that?s fun, sassy, sexy ? and also poignant and moving. When Laura Kincaide is asked to restore and decorate the old McNair House, she can?t refuse. Since she was a girl she?s had a strong sentimental attachment to the house, and even dreamed of living there one day with her puppy-love beau, Jack Thomas. At least up until Jack dumped her for a sexy cheerleader. You can imagine Laura?s dismay when she finds that the contractor who will be doing the carpentry on the McNair House is no other than Jack. Jack?s divorced now, the father of a delightful daughter who lives with him, and even more attractive than when they were teenagers. He?d be happy to resume their old friendship but Laura is determined not to give him another opportunity to break her heart. She does her best to stay away from him, but it?s difficult as they work to bring the McNair House ? a house Laura has always felt was built with love ? back to its former glory. Liking, passion and love grow between Laura and Jack (and if you?ve never thought of green paint and turpentine as being sexy, think again!). Their fragile relationship faces a crisis, as does the fate of the McNair House, but both are resolved in the emotionally satisfying conclusion of Flashback.
