July 14, 2006: This was the first Harlequin book that I have read and I absolutely Loved it!! It is book #834 in the Harlequin Intrigue series of gothic romance/romantic suspense. Sasha Michaelson recieves a phone call from Sheriff Reed Blakeslee that her twin sister has been murdered and that she has left her her 2-year old daughter for her to care for. Sasha takes a ferry to Sunset Island to collect her sisters body (which is missing), her motherless niece, and the newly inherited eerie mansion in which her sister's voice still echos in its corridors. She and the Sheriff are determined to find Nadine's body, but the killer that is still on the loose on the tiny island has other plans for Sasha.
