    Synopsis

Victoria Blackstone has spent years caring for others, and now she's ready to change her life and put herself first. Trouble is, she's not sure she has the courage to do it alone.
Noah McCarty has hit the road in an attempt to get some perspective on life and escape his damaged past. But when he becomes stranded and Victoria comes to his rescue, her innocence, warmth and determination are enough to stop him in his tracks.
Noah soon realizes that he's found exactly what he was searching for, and when Victoria shows him he was her Mr. Right all along, he rescues her right back.

October 30, 2006: I also enjoyed Rescued By Mr. Right! Reviewer H. Jensen gave a great summation, so I am not going to, but I will say that the story of Noah's challenges rang true, and the resolution gave me a triumphant feeling. I loved it. It touched my heart and went beyond the typical happily-ever-after.

Another wonderful romance by Shirley Jump--love my ARC!by Anonymous

September 23, 2006: Shirley Jump's latest funny, tender romance will have you sitting on the edge of your seat and laughing through your tears. Noah McCarty, a man who rescues troubled teens for a living, is determined to run away from his job, his lonely life, and his failure to save the one teenager he loves most. His plans to stow away in a cabin in Maine and become a professional hermit are derailed when his truck breaks down outside the home of Victoria Blackstone. Victoria, forced into the ill-fitting role of a reclusive hermit herself by her devotion and dedication to her aging (and recently deceased) parents, is ready to brave the unknown territory of the outside world. It doesn't take her long to decide that Noah is the one she wants to act as her guide--both in the big city and in the more exotic realms of the heart. But can she help Noah regain his confidence and courage--and help him recover what he's lost? This book's positive energy will leave a smile on your face. Jump manages to weave the sensitive subject of juvenile delinquency seamlessly into a feel-good romance that leaves you with the belief that love can, indeed, conquer all. I can hardly wait to read her story in 'Sugar and Spice,' (with Fern Michaels) coming out in November 2006!
