August 07, 2005: Lucy Monroe always creates beautiful surroundings and intriguing characters, and she continues this tradition in BLACKMAILED INTO MARRIAGE. I admire Lia's strength and her devotion to her daughter and the way Damian responds to her difficulties with compassion and understanding, and not a trace of contempt. I hoped they would find a way to overcome the challenges in their path, find happiness and become a family. BLACKMAILED INTO MARRIAGE is passionate, thoroughly engaging and a wonderful story from beginning to end.

July 19, 2005: This wonderful love story so touched my heart. The storyline portrays the complete trust both characters learned to have in each other......it's just an incredible journey for Lia and Damian. Blackmailed Into Marriage is five stars and so much more! The story begins with Lia seeking assistance from her Spanish aristocratic family. She asks her grandfather for financial assistance in order to save her little girl from a heart defect. Her grandfather demands and blackmails her into marrying Damian to gain financial aid. Damian who is an incredibly proud man stands to gain acceptance into Spanish aristocracy though this marriage, plus heirs and respectability. However, on the first night of the honeymoon, Lia shares a secret which she fears will cause Damian not to honor his promise to help her daughter. It?s of such magnitude that she?s afraid her new husband will leave. From that night, this couple begin such a sensual and incredible journey into love and trust it will steal your breath away. Trust me, you'll just have to get the book. You won't be able to put it down.
