September 23, 2005: The Greek's Royal Mistress to me was a very exciting book. There's a surprise at the end about Chantal and Armestaid's marriage that made me not want to put the book down. It's very sweet how Chantal and Demetrius fall in love and how everything works out in the end. This book also has a hidden meaning in it: how far a mother will go to save her child.

August 17, 2004: THE GREEK'S ROYAL MISTRESS is the second in the Princess Brides series where the Princesses of Melio must make a marriage of convenience in order to save their country. Chantal Ducasse is the eldest of the sisters and tired of being all things to everybody. While sitting on a plane, she is listing everything she wishes she had done differently when fate takes over and her plane crashes. Luckily for her, Demetrius Mantheakis is sitting in the seat next to her. Demetrius is a bodyguard hired by Chantal's brother-in-law when he becomes aware that Chantal's life could be in danger. He finds himself wanting to guard more then just her body as he realizes that Chantal is not as spoiled as he once thought. Chantal and Demetrius must survive the elements after the plane crash but will they be able to part when Demetrius' services are no longer required? THE GREEK'S ROYAL MISTRESS by Jane Porter is full of action and adventure as well as a steamy romance as Chantal must decide whether to go ahead with the plans made for her or to follow her heart. This book is another winner by Jane Porter and it was a fun, one sit read that will make you feel good.
