      Sandra Marton wrote her first novel while she was still in elementary school. Her doting parents told her she'd be a writer someday and Sandra believed them. In high school and college, she wrote dark poetry nobody but her boyfriend understood, though looking back, she suspects he was just being kind. As a wife and mother, she wrote murky short stories in what little spare time she could manage, but not even her boyfriend-turned-husband could pretend to understand those. Sandra tried her hand at other things, among them teaching and serving on the Board of Education in her hometown, but the dream of becoming a writer was always in her heart.

      At last, Sandra realized she wanted to write books about what all women hope to find: love with that one special man, love that's rich with fire and passion, love that lasts forever. She wrote a novel, her very first, and sold it to the Harlequin Presents line. Since then, she's written more than sixty books, all of them featuring the sexy, gorgeous, larger-than-life heroes that have helped make Sandra one of the Presents line's bestselling authors. A four-time RITA Award finalist, she's also received six Romantic Times magazine awards for Best Harlequin Presents of the Year and has been honored with Romantic Times Career Achievement Award for Series Romance.       April 18, 2003: Keir O'Connel has had enough of Vegas so he moves and changes professions. In a twist of fate the beautiful woman (Cassie) that he used to employ in Vegas (and that he once shared a passionate kiss with) has also left the town behind and ended up at his doorstep. Has she spent restless nights dreaming about the hot moment they once shared? No matter how hard they try and resist each other, they realize resistance is futile. And once they?ve shared the night in each other?s arms, they quickly discover there is no one else they would rather spend the night with than each other. But Cassie has doubts they can make it work considering they mix like oil and water. Can Keir prove to her that they are made for each other? This novel made me laugh, love, and brought tears to my eyes. It was fast-paced and hard to put down. I even brought it with me to the gym so I could read while I worked out! Sandra Marton is by far my favorite author. She always stirs feelings in me with her 3-dimensional characters. This book is right up there with all her other novels. I?ve read at least 20 of her books and I still can?t get enough. Check out her other novels and be sure not to miss the rest of this series. I know I?ll be the first in line to buy them!
