January 17, 2009: I have read all Ms Foleys book in sequence. At the moment I have loved them all,but this one was very touching. You can almost reach out to Damien as he struggles with his fears.Very well written and keeps you on the edge until the end.I love both of the twins, both look alike but very different.A very good read!

January 17, 2005: I read Lord of Fire first, and fell in love with Lucien, until the end, when Damien's 'weakness' is made evident... the story of Damien and Miranda, and his redemption through her love touched my heart... Damien's PTSD hits so close to home, and this could very well have been the story of my husband and i... it was unbelievably wonderful. the historical accuracy is amazing as well!!! I read it in one day...
