Once a respected astronomy professor, Daniel Murphy is now on the run with his 8–year–old son when he kidnapped him from his grandparents. He's settled in a small town in Texas, owns the local gas station, but he still harbours a love for the stars. July 12, 2004: I loved this book. The sci-fi premise was very believable, the characters were great and the love story was touching. I have read all of Ms. McCoy's books and this is one of her best. I can't wait for the next two in this series.
