Synopsis

"So, what I want to know is, if my dad's an actual prince, how come I have to learn algebra?" Mia ponders this, and much more, when she finds out that her father is prince of Genovia. Living with her cool artist mom in New York City, Mia can't imagine leaving to become princess in Genovia. But because her father can't have any more kids, she is the heir to the throne. Accepting her title means getting lessons on being a perfect princess and leaving Manhattan - will Mia eventually give in to her father and become Princess Amelia Mignonette Grimaldi Thermopolis Renaldo?

Biography

Keeping up with Meg Cabot is tricky: Under four pen names, the Princess Diaries author turns out light entertaining novels for teens and adults at a furious pace. Which is good news for her fans, who snap them up as fast as she can write them!

December 06, 2009: This book had a lot of issues, it seemed to never end. The book seemed unrealistic and seemed to put important things on hold. The story seemed to be waiting for something that never happened. The story line and the characters were great and had so much potential. But the writer did nothing with them. Reading the ones before hand, you expect a great story to unfold.

February 04, 2009: The book "A Princess in Waiting" helps a teen figure out the same sort of problems that Mia faces. This book also is a page-turner, that you won't want to put down. The characters are just one thing that add to the book. Not only can you relate to these characters but you can see why they would do something and sometimes it helps figure out why people in the real world do the same thing. Meg Cabot is an outstanding writer an d this book proves it, besides from the other collections she has wrote. "A Princess in Waiting" is a must read, and if you do read it you won't be sorry that you did. Enjoy!!

I Also Recommend: Project Princess, Princess in Pink (Princess Diaries Series #5).
