Synopsis

This Fourth Edition of Clemente's classic Anatomy is revised and expanded with an exciting, fresh, new look. Almost every plate and accompanying note has been improved. There are 135 additional figures in this Fourth Edition, with the remainder coming from the previous edition of this atlas or the 20th German Edition of Sobotta.

Annotation

The book contains predominantly color illustrations, with some black-and-white illustrations.

Journal of the American Medical Association

Dr Clemente belongs in the ranks of the great living anatomists of our country. I recommend this lovely book for the health profession.

June 17, 2000: I think this book is great for those who want great anatomical detail or for medical artists who need inspiration. The illustrations in this book are outstanding & the number of anatomical structures listed in this book are almost mind-boggling. The text explains some aspects, such as the origin, insertion, innervation, & action of muscles. This book has so many structures listed it would probably be too confusing & holds to much info, for those who aren't med students or have less than a Ph.D. If you want to know a lot of anatomy I would by it. This book deals with very little or no physiology. If you just want to know just the basics or want to know about physiology, buy another book.
