September 08, 2009: There are a TON of recipes in this book that are amazing. Although I have not tried every single one of them (I know people who have) each recipe has something different. The instructions can sometimes be a little confusing with the added wit and quips. In this book there is something for everyone. It has also helped me find yummy things to eat after I recently found out about my allergies to wheat and eggs. Being it is a vegan cookbook I don't have to worry about the eggs but mostly every recipe that calls for flour can be substituted with a gluten free all purpose baking mix. Everything is full of intense flavor and it's hard not to want to try everything in this book.

March 23, 2009: I am a huge fan of Isa Moskowitz and Vegan with a Vengeance, so adding Veganomicon to my library was a no-brainer. The tips and hints are very reliable and the seasonings are spot on. I have a lot of vegetarian and vegan cookbooks that have hit the mark with appearance and texture, but the flavors leave something to be desired. Veganomicon recipes prove that depth in vegan dishes is not difficult to achieve.
