An enjoyable, but formulaic read.by carver

January 02, 2010: Turtledove seems to have developed an easy, for him, to write formula for many of his novels. the checklists on plot and character development all get checked off, but there really isn't much great writing involved. All that being said this was an enjoyable read. If I wasn't terribly challenged I was well entertained.
