R.D. Ellison, whose Gamble to Win Craps sold extremely well when published last year, has his newest work, Gamble to Win Roulette ready to fire. Although the first 87 pages cover the basics, he finally moves into high gear with sections on strategies. Well-written, entertaining, packed with examples, illustrations and explanations. His approach is confident and unique, presenting plays like the "Angel and the Sledgehammer"; the "3Q" bet; "Surgical Strikes" and variations of the previous.
Ellison discusses betting on the Internet; what to do if you think you're not getting an honest deal; online strategies; the pros and cons of online gambling. The author is very knowledgeable about the game (in fact, he writes with such an authoritative style, your own level of confidence is bound to increase). He approaches the game like a general about to engage in battle (which is what the player faces every time he enters a casino). Here Ellison gives you some new weapons (ideas) to work with. This could be the best new book for 2002 on the game.
