January 15, 2007: 'The Joys of Motherhood' may be a little hard to get into at first, but as the story unfolds, it's hard to pull yourself away from this great book. I really loved this book because it was so interesting to read about a different culture at an earlier time period. The title is ironic and the story of Nnu Ego is so amazing. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who is interested in African culture and Women?s studies.
