      November 11, 2009: Wether your a beginner or a well-versed knitter, this handbook is a must. When I came across this book in the store I was astonished at the amount of information it provided. It was just what I needed. I've been knitting for a couple years, so I definitly use this book as a reference. Even an experienced knitter can use this book as a refresher and/or to learn even more techniques.

      The book is very easy to use and has a large index in the back. It has a lot of illustrations that demonstrate each technique; each technique is also broken down to include variations. This book is a handy reference for anyone who is serious about learning how to knit.

      April 06, 2009: I have been knitting for years but occassionally come across special cast ons, bind offs, and other techniques that I am not familiar with. This book is very comprehensive and has been a real treasure to have on hand when I encounter a reference to a new technique or just to learn more about something. Well worth the cost. Great illustrations!
