June 16, 2009: The story of love across time, ENCHANTMENT'S EMBRACE, set a year after VISIONS OF ENCHANTMENT, begins where the latter left off. Eryn Sterling and Uriah Prescott are engaged and are about to finally tie the knot when their old nemesis Dalton -who is out of jail and looking for revenge-resurfaces. A new adventure unfolds for the couple and their grown twin daughters in their life twenty years and a century later.

Hot passion as well as the "forever and always" love between the two main characters are characteristic of both "Enchantment" books. The three other couples (the younger twin Avis and Travis Van Tine, the older twins Alyce and Enchantment, Inn handyman Cole Dawes, Eryn's best friend Beth Van Tine and Dr. C.J. Lincoln) and their love stories add tremendously to the romance quotient of the book.

Halfway through the book, just when you think they've faced down their enemy, are married, and embarking on their happily-ever after.yet another old enemy resurfaces! Facing down this persistent enemy is harder and despite being less violent than Dalton, he is more dangerous for Eryn and Uriah. I'll not spoil the suspense by telling you who it is .you've got to read it to believe it! Mary Dressel sure puts her characters through quite a rig-ma-role and tests the "always and forever" to its greatest limit! This love across time sometimes seems almost cursed. But after all the heartbreak the happy ending is that much sweeter.

Just as Uriah is hesitant to read the book True Stories written by Eryn's time-traveling great grandfather to know what the future holds, sometimes one is almost scared to turn the page wondering what new heartache Dressel has in store for Uriah and Eryn. But the suspense is such that you can't resist turning the page! And when you come to the last page you won't mind all the twists in the plot so much since Uriah and Eryn are given the most perfect of the much-deserved happy ending. ENCHANTMENT'S EMBRACE is quite a romance! Perfect for when you doubt the concept of forever love, this book will make you believe once more.

April 13, 2008: AUTHOR: Mary J. Dressel Uriah Prescot loved his sweet Eryn in a time passed and a world to come. Twenty years of love traveled from a century and decade only to secure a future with a woman that drove him beyond lust, love and passion. Eryn Rae had a way of turning her blond beguiler inside-out with the slightest touch. But, she loved him just as much. This love took him to a place that many knew not of, that many wouldn?t begin to comprehend and where some needed to stay, permanently. After the death of her parents, Eryn?s great-great grandfather, Emmet McDanil, did what he thought would be best for her and it was, so he thought. But Uriah had to close the portal that took the love of his life away once before, and threatened to take her again. Dalton Vecshaw and Taylor Sterling were the threats. They were determined to destroy the man who took the only woman they loved, and using the portal, was the sure way to accomplish this. As I read this story, I fell in love with the fantasy of time travel. Having your beau, your soul-mate love you beyond and before, makes the heart flutter in love. Time travel has a complexity in its own, and for one to totally comprehend how it all works, would be somewhat difficult. But I totally enjoyed the way the author made it happen and befitting of the story. She made me fall in love with Uriah Prescot, myself. Oh! How I loved the way he loved his sweet Eryn.
