Synopsis

Messages from Jesus

A Dialogue of Love

"Imagine listening to an interview of Jesus of Nazareth. Most of us would be sitting there just praying that the host would delve into the issues that are near and dear to us. In her book, Messages from Jesus - A Dialogue of Love, Mary Ann Johnston shares with the world hours of conversation she had with the One known as The Christ.

"Chances are, if you have a question for Him, the answer lies in these pages, as the essence of the spiritual life, modern religion, world affairs, and disasters are all dealt with rather comprehensively.

"Nothing that I or the author could say will convince anyone skeptical of these pages' origin about their authenticity. But then again, only personal conviction will allow any scripture to be thought of as veritable. I encourage you to delve into this work and find out for yourself if Truth is present here. My guess is, regardless of what you determine, you won't skip a page."

- Fred Stella, President, Interfaith Dialogue Association and Host of Common Threads: An Interfaith Dialogue, heard weekly on WGVU Radio, Grand Rapids, Michigan

Biography

Mary Ann Johnston-lecturer, healer, occupational therapist, and author of Messages from Jesus, A Dialogue of Love, writes of her spiritual life and conversations with Jesus, who came to her as a radiant, ethereal being when she was five years old.
Most children lose their ability to see spirit beings or invisible friends. They realize that others can't see them, and they tend to slowly let go of the things grown-ups never saw or have long since forgotten. Or maybe parents and peers tell them how silly they are, so they block out such subtle experiences from their awareness.

Keeping Jesus' presence close to her heart, Jesus never left her. Several years later, while working as a traveling occupational therapist in medical facilities across the country, Mary Ann learned-with Jesus' intervention-that she was able to heal people through the power of Spirit. Soon she found reason to leave conventional Christian attitudes and beliefs behind, to rely more on her inner knowing, faith in God, and loving communion with Jesus.

In 1998, Mary Ann had a profound, spiritual awakening, brought on by a sudden kundalini energy surge, which increased her creativity and awareness of God's graces. She began to write poetry describing the blissful feelings, visions and realizations she was having. In 2002, Jesus encouraged her to write books, sharing her experiences and his messages of truth and love, with all people, everywhere.

Mary Ann has a degree in occupational therapy from Western Michigan University. She gives homilies and workshops on spiritual subjects addressed in her books, for Unity and other churches across the country, community groups, and at Song of the Morning yogaretreat in Michigan, where she lives with her husband, George. She is also a talented musician.
