November 17, 2004: As I find with more and more with contemporary romance books that I read, I find that women are more frank and aggressive about satiating their sexual desires, as well as their lover?s. It appears that the modern day man, ?Samson?, still desires, respects and appreciates this ?Delilah? of the 21st century. Although the ?Delilah?, Del, of ?Caught In The Act? is a true seductress and even brazen at times, she is not a prostitute nor deceitful, but a successful mystery writer unsuspectingly caught in a real life murder mystery. The ?Samson?, Mick, of our story is mouth watering sex personified. Mick is an undercover detective (and Del?s secrete admirer) whose shot while trying to protect her from being killed during a deliberately botched jewelry heist. Delilah feels obligated to personally express her appreciation to this unknown man who would so easily lay down his life for hers and ends up inviting him home with her ? so that she can play his personal nurse and look after him. As you can imagine, he gets more than what the doctor prescribed... LF has a good balance of romance, playfulness, sexy, mystery, danger and suspense. Everything about this book is fast and furious ? raw passionate lust progressing into a respectful and endearing marriage.
