Discover the Four Questions that Will Forever Transform Your Life's Journey
No matter how much money, status, or success they may have, very few people experience true joy and personal freedom. Byron Katie knows this reality too well. In the midst of a "normal and successful" life, she was sinking deeper and deeper into depression and despair until a sudden, profound insight into how the mind works set her on the path to a life filled with love for everything life brings. Eager to help others find this freedom, Katie developed a revolutionary process to make this transformation practical, a simple yet powerful method of inquiry known as The Work.
The Work's four powerful questions and turnaround (which is a way of experiencing the opposite of what you believe) have transformed the lives of hundreds of thousands of people throughout the world. In Your Inner Awakening, Byron Katie will teach you how to use The Work for yourself to question and undo any stressful thought that keeps you from experiencing mental clarity. You'll discover that trying to let go of a painful thought never works; instead once you have investigated it, the thought lets go of you. Eventually you may find, as so many others have, that peace and joy flow into every area of your life.
Byron Katie experienced what she calls "waking up to reality" in 1986, and since then she has introduced The Work to hundred of thousands of people. Her bestselling books are Loving What Is and I Need Your Love Is That True? Her website is www.thework.com.

April 06, 2009: This helped me get more clarity on my own thinking and how to ask questions of my own thoughts so I can begin to think more rationally. It is very user friendly and good for the layman to use. If you have tend to be a reactionary person, one who just reacts to events in life without thinking, then seems to suffer for it? This audiobook is for you. She will help you see your thinking is most often not truth and that is what we are reacting to, and it does not matter what is going on outside of us, you can choose to be happy.

If you're not sure who Byron Katie is or what "The Work" is about, I would be feel sad if you missed out on what this woman IS and teaches. So to say she's amazing is too "light" of a word to describe her. She IS love.
I know for me, I've been on a quest for higher consciousness and awareness, and Katie is one of THE best sources that I've learned from. I was introduced to her by Wayne Dyer, who is another one of the people that's helped me along my journey.
I know there's a Zen saying that, "when the student is ready, the teacher will appear", and since I'm willing to be shown the way to higher levels of life, Katie is one of my greatest teachers thus far.
I've also learned along the way that, if I'm able to control my thoughts, I have control over my life. This is what Katie teaches us. She can teach you how to take control over your life, with a process she calls the "Judge your neighbor worksheet which entails you to: write down your thoughts, ask four questions and turn it around."
I'd suggest you YouTube her and see what she's all about. If you have an open mind and you're a lover of the truth, you will not be disappointed!
What she teaches is VERY simple and EXTREMELY insightful. She's not trying to 'change' how we think, she's teaching us to question our thoughts so that we can reach higher levels of "self-awareness." Nothing more, nothing less.
