October 26, 2004: This book has been the catalyst that helped me revive and reinvent my career in voice overs. Even though I've been in the business for years, I learned so much from this book! Today, I am well on the way to a home based business with my own studio and with all the resources I could want right at my fingertips. Mr. Saulsberry gives you wonderful tips for improving your chops and great tips for managing your business. He also gives invaluable insight into other facets of the business beyond radio and tv. Best of all, he does it succinctly and with a sense of humor. I found his story very inspiring and now I have a clear idea of the kind of career I can have if I put my mind (and voice) into it. I've recommended this book to colleagues in the business as well as folks just starting out. It has been a wonderful resource and I recommend it wholeheartedly!
