      Parent Council Reviews

Written in very gentle language to help you and your children discover new experiences, this is truly a book to savor and enjoy. Based on the Waldorf philosophy of early childhood education, the chapters discuss various subjects such as caring for newborns, understanding toddler development, nourishing children's imaginations, developing artistic and musical ability, and relating cognitive ability to early childhood education. In our fast-paced society, we parents are so busy hurrying our children along that we sometimes forget to take time for the simple things in life. Read this book, relax, and enjoy your children! 2000, Celestial Arts, $14.95. Ages Adult. Reviewer: S. Palmer SOURCE: Parent Council Volume 8
