Great book/guide

I read this wonderful book, in a process of applying for my residency training. I received this this book from a student of mine, so I could enjoy my week off during break. And thanks to this book, I did. I went through the ordeal that Cook had gone through, and amazingly enough there are many similarities, even though I practiced in Europe .For all of us who have graduated from different social and cultural background, this book enhances our perspective on the American healthcare system.
Scary Suspense

This is probably Robin Cook's best novel that I've read and I have purchased all his books. What is really scary is that it is the most likely scenario to happen in real life. Not to say you can't trust your doctors or medical staff, but, after all, they are human just like us and will make mistakes, just like us. From the author's point of view and probably from some experiences and observations, this is better than reality tv shows.
Also recommended: Toxin, Vector, Coma, Sphinx and all his other books.
