August 15, 2009: A well-written guide to fiction description and setting. Easy to follow hints and guidelines, with exercises that will help you tone those writing muscles to perfection. Even though it is intended for fiction writers, these hints can also improve your non-fiction writing.

November 20, 2006: The Description & Setting volume for the Write Great Fiction series might not be the last word on these subjects, or the one book that has it all, but it provides a good overview and plenty of material for further reflection. Well worth the purchase price.
