      March 19, 2008: Although this is a mystery, there is a strong element of romance to it. The writing is snappy then sensual, dark then erotic. Sex scenes are exquisitely written, very sensitive, with an amazing quality of emotion to them. I think this novel has placed Mr. Barnett squarely into the top ranks.
