September 01, 2009: I was really looking forward to reading this book, but nothing cool happened. I kept waiting, and waiting for something interesting to happen since there was such great build up. It was a very interesting take on the original though.

August 25, 2009: I felt this book had potential but it was incredibly boring. I could not finish the whole book and I stopped at different parts to read other books in between. The originality is neat and I enjoyed the idea of a different perspective on the Wizard of Oz but trying to follow the politics in this book is difficult. I do not recommend this book to read for fun or anything for that matter...
