August 15, 2005: I am 15 years old and quite mentally/emotionally mature for my age. I began dieting about a year ago because I felt 'fat'. My dieting lead to an obsession about weight, and a loss of 20 lbs. Now I struggle every day with food. I think I was hoping this book would somehow CURE me, so initially I felt disapointed after completing all the exercises in the book, yet still bingeing at night. I've realized that I should have tried to better understand the disorder first before trying to help myself. So I recommend learning of the disorder and why you have it before buying this book. This is deffinetly more of a GUIDE than an actual book. I do highly recommend it to those who know all about the disorder and just need help getting through it.
