Biography
Mary Oliver is one of the most celebrated and best-selling poets in America. February 12, 2005: Mary Oliver looks; she sees everything in infinite yet minute detail. When we see a sunset, or a flower, we have many different thoughts and emotions in a barrage of human feeling; somehow Oliver encompasses all of this, this deep appreciation of the beauty of nature, with the sweep of a few short words. My favorite poem from this collection is 'Where Does the Temple Begin, Where Does It End?'
